Sabrina Yakubovich

Sabrina Yakubovich

PT, DPT, CSCS

Sabrina is a Philly native who received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology at Temple University while also pursuing her competitive career in Ballroom Dance. After graduating she continued her education and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at New York University. Sabrina has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Sabrina recently spent time working as a Physical Therapist on Broadway shows such as Lion King, STOMP and Hamilton. She currently specializes in general orthopedics with a comprehensive focus on athletics and performing artists. Sabrina is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. This allows her to understand exercise programming for the athletic population. Sabrina will take time to listen and recognize your needs and goals for Physical Therapy to ensure you receive quality, attentive care. During her free time, Sabrina continues to enjoy ballroom dancing, watching the latest Broadway shows, and spending time with family.

Alexandra Burdo

Alexandra Burdo

MS, OTR/L, Occupational Therapy Supervisor

Alex has been working as an occupational therapist since 2020. She completed her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at the University of New England in Portland, Maine. Alex has experience working in mental health, home health, and outpatient therapy. Alex has experience working in hand therapy and fabricating static orthoses for fingers, hands, wrists, and elbows. Across settings, her goal is to ensure patients can complete their day to day activities in a safe and effective manner. In addition to clinical practice, Alex has a passion for research. She has conducted research studies and presented at local and national conferences for topics including, the impact of loneliness & isolation on older adults. Alex has also presented in-services to multidisciplinary teams and graduate level students regarding chronic pain management, and the role of occupational therapy across the healthcare continuum. In her free time, Alex enjoys traveling (especially back to Maine), finding a new knitting project, and cooking for friends and family.

Joy Ko

Joy Ko

OTD, OTR/L

Joy began working as an occupational therapist in 2022. She received her bachelor’s degree at the Pennsylvania State University and Doctorate’s degree in OT at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Joy has previous experience in adolescent mental health, inpatient neurology, and in the outpatient setting. Her main goal as an OT is to collaborate with patients to ensure that treatment maximizes their ability to complete meaningful activities in life. Joy has a strong interest in research. She has conducted research looking at the association between parental stress levels and behavior amongst children with disabilities in Jordan. Through research opportunities, Joy hopes to continue to expand on OT literature and push the boundaries of therapy. In her free time, Joy enjoys going for runs, binge watching Netflix shows, and spending time with her friends and family.
